The National Youth Recovery Foundation funds and promotes programs and initiatives that increase young people’s access to treatment and aftercare; support students as they continue and complete their educations; help young adults build career and social networks; and remove barriers to their sustained and active recovery. Young People in Recovery (YPR) membership chapters mobilize and advocate for the public policy changes they need. We welcome all in active recovery regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation, or country of origin and particularly encourage LGBTQ young people and those with co-existing mental health conditions to get involved in our chapters and leadership.
